London Quiz

Chris Heathcote’s London-based quiz, 58 London Things, is fiendishly difficult. I’m claiming about 14 so far, and I daren’t even submit those to Chris for fear of learning that they’re all wrong anyway. Even if you know London; even if you wander around with with your head tilted upward at the buildings, eating it with your eyes, camera permanently poised, it’ll be tricky.

  2. OK, dear readers, I hang my head in shame. I got 11, depending on leniency (I hedged bets on Liberty’s possibly being”that block of shops at High Holborn … or Liberty’s”. It was Liberty’s).
    My answers:

    Oh and I suspect Chris wouldn’t give me a bonus point for this, tho:
    9. Do I get a bonus point for knowing it’s a Russian T34 (introduced to the Russian forces in the middle of WW2 in time to swing the major tank battles at Kursk and almost single-handedly begin to turn the tide against the German assault on Russia due to its superior speed, manoeuverability, and ease of construction?
