Tom Coates notes a recent flurry of posts, as he puts it, "praising the ill-designed" (which conjures a looping piece of music in my head, going "back once again with the ill designer", which in turn reminds me of football 'presenter' Clive Tyldesley's unbelievable colemanball when commentating on a Manchester City game: "Michael Brown ... he's a real wild child ... with the ill behaviour, with the ill behaviour", as recorded here (god I love the internet) christ that was insane. ANYWAY, sorry ...)
It's a really interesting post by Tom, concluding with a grand claim (which I like) about postmodernity, Enlightenment, and essentially, the problem with Modernsim. Tom wonders about the criteria for developing such systems though.

How.
Buildings.
Learn.
And Adaptive Design makes two more useful words.
